Are you interested in a specific topic within psychology? Your curiosity will drive our lessons. In this one-on-one class, learners will choose topics to study in depth with me. Psychology is a big field, so we have many different options. Here's a few suggestions: - Abnormal psychology (disorders) - Forensic psychology (criminal behavior) - Personality psychology (unique differences between people) - Social psychology (how we relate to other people) - Developmental psychology (how people change or stay the same over time) - Designing a research study (this is especially important if you want to go to graduate school) No prior knowledge of psychology is needed.
Learning Goals
Students will gain in-depth knowledge of a single topic in psychology, practice critical thinking, and conversation skills.
