Are you interested in learning about psychology? In this ongoing club, we will meet weekly to learn about a current psychological research study and critically discuss the study. Each week I will choose a different research study to highlight. During the first fifteen minutes of the meeting, I will present the theory, methodology, and results of the study. I have a PhD in psychology from the University of Arizona. I've taught college courses in psychology for over ten years.
Students do not need to prepare anything for the meeting.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
I will choose articles from top academic psychological journals such as Psychological Science and Psychological Bulletin.
