We will discuss preparation and testing strategies drawn from major print guides (Peterson's, McGraw-Hill, Princeton Review, College Board, etc.). We will focus on exercises and discussions that improve student scores by addressing such issues as maximizing time, understanding what you've read, and how to approach unfamiliar vocabulary. - Students will learn testing strategies, ways to build vocabulary, and ways to approach the Language Arts questions on this exam.
I have nearly 20 years of experience as a high school Language Arts teacher, as well as nearly 10 years as a tutor specializing in ACT and SAT test preparation.
