Over my years of tutoring and teaching group test prep classes, I’ve learned all the tricks and trap questions the PSAT throws at you. In this course, I’ll show you how to spot and avoid these common pitfalls, giving you the confidence and skills you need to excel on the Reading and Writing section. Whether you’re just starting to study or need a quick, last-minute review, this course is perfect for anyone needing to get ready for the test—fast! This class includes just under 2.5 hours of videos along with practice questions in the form of homework for students. 2 Lessons
over 2 WeeksLesson 1:
Part One
After a brief introduction, we'll focus on strategies for answering text-based evidence, main idea, purpose, structure, and detail questions. Practice problems will be provided for homework.
Lesson 2:
Part Two
In this lesson, we'll tackle rhetorical synthesis, charts, paired passages, inference, grammar, vocabulary, and transition word questions. You'll also learn some helpful test-taking strategies. Students will receive more practice questions for homework.
