Students will gain knowledge about a variety topics while practicing a variety of developmentally appropriate cognitive, social-emotional, speech & language and motor skills.

My classes are informed by my professional and academic background as a Reggio-inspired Educator. It I completed my Master's in Innovative Early Childhood Education in May 2022 in program focusing on the Reggio Emilia Approach to Early Childhood Education (University of Colorado + Boulder Journey School).  I have 20 years experience as an educator, primarily as a Teaching Artist and Reggio-inspired ECE, including 2.5 years as an all-virtual educator through my company Curious Bluebird, LLC. I am also a Registered Yoga Teacher (offering classes for children and adults) and certified children's Yoga instructor.

Homework Offered
Homework will be researching and documenting findings through a variety of methods. I will offer each learner / family a project plan that includes suggested activities for this. In keeping with the Reggio-inspired approach, the projects will be completed as a group. If a child is compelled to engage in an individual project I am happy to support that, however I will need to keep an eye on equitable sharing of time during our classes. In other words, the focus of the class will be on group projects and each child will be offered an equitable about of time to participate in a way that best suits their demonstrated interests.
