Description
Class Experience
When practiced regularly, students will gain a better understanding of core stability, weight placement, and alignment.
I have been studying dance for 25 years and am a certified Progressing Ballet Technique Instructor, Personal Trainer, and Dancer Teacher. Keeping our bodies agile and moving is so vital for growing youth. As we spend more time sedentary at a computer or couch, we are finding it harder and harder to live an active lifestyle. It's not always easy to get up and workout on your own, and I love the comradery when a group comes together with a similar goal of being active!
Students are encouraged to continue their practice at least 10 minutes per day throughout the week.
2 files available upon enrollment• Exercise Ball that is approximately knee height (Example: Yoga Ball, Fit Ball, or Swiss Ball) • Fusion Ball approximately 23cm/9in in diameter (Example: Soft Stability Ball, Pilates Soft Ball, or Toy Ball) • Resistance Band (Light/Medium Strength) • Yoga or Pilates Mat • Comfortable athletic clothing and bare feet • A water bottle for hydration
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Please ensure your learner has a well-lit and clean space (approximately their arm's length wide) that is free of distractions. I do ask that learners keep their webcams on for the duration of class so I can monitor and ensure safe practices.
