Beginner - Intermediate Level
Growing up can be exciting and overwhelming all at once! This is the perfect time to start connecting what you like to do with what you may decide to do in the future. In this fun and interactive class, students will learn about LinkedIn and how to craft and profile to land the job of their dreams. Students also learn common work related terminology to prepare them for career decisions and discussions in the future. LinkedIn Starter Session 1: Professional Presence (Online) Show up! Students will learn about LinkedIn and how their online presence impacts their careers. Session 2: Professional Branding Standout! Students will further explore how to build a LinkedIn/online presence that will one day help them land the job of their dreams. Our classroom is a collaborative community that is a safe space for sharing doubts and excitement related to preparing for adulthood. Students are expected to be respectful to others as they learn together, but also be ready to have fun, crack jokes, and support each other. Students are welcomed to share their personal experiences in class for additional guidance or to help others. The primary goal of my classes is that students leave more confident and prepared to define their future.

Pre-Requisites
It would be beneficial, not required, for students to have taken the Professional Power Up Career Exploration and Resume classes.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
