In this one time course we will discuss how to properly write an email to a teacher, parent, or other professional. Learners will also get the chance to practice what they've learned in a simulated email.
Class experience
This one-time course consists of a lecture presentation on how to write a professional email with the correct etiquette. The lecture is interactive with student-based Q&A, quiz-like scenarios, and short answer questions throughout the presentation using an online program, Nearpod. I will teach how to address the recipient of an email, how to properly sign an email, and how the body of an email can be structured. *This class is subjective. The goal of this course is to help learners feel more confident in their abilities to remain polite and professional when conversing with a teacher, instructor, coach, etc.
I will share my screen via Zoom to show students an interactive lecture on Nearpod. They will receive the code at the beginning of class to log onto this lesson.
