Students will use sketchup to create A NETS versions of familiar packaging and then design their own package. Skills Learned: Move/Copy Grouping Custom Colors & Textures Rotate Tools Arc Tools DAY 1 Students create a Basic Mailing Box. They begin to see the layers of the box: bottom, main, top DAY 2-3 Students construct a pizza box with folding lid Students use custom textures to make the box appear realistic The pizza box also illustrates reinforced sides by folding Day 4 Students construct a box with foldover lid This box illustrates interlocking tabs for reinforcement DAY 5 Students design and build their own box package design
