In this ongoing class, students will follow a new directed lesson each week while learning new tips and tricks in Procreate! A basic knowledge/understanding of the Procreate app is extremely helpful before joining class. *** We will work through our project step-by-step, and toward the end of class everyone will have the opportunity to be 'spotlighted' and receive individual praise and positive feedback. I always remind students that my creation is just an example of what they can make - they are encouraged to use their imaginations and creativity in this class! Students can make any changes or substitutions they want. Drawing and creating on a digital platform can sometimes be tricky/frustrating for learners- especially if things are not working exactly the first time they try - some leaners may benefit from having an adult close by in case they need a little extra help at home :) Supplies: - iPad with Procreate* - Stylus, Apple Pencil, or Tablet Pencil Recommended: A second device to watch and interact with class (not the device being used to draw). ______________________________________________________________________ * The Procreate app can be purchased in the apple app store and should be installed before class *** For learners who are brand new to Procreate, I do have a self paced Procreate class with 15 recorded lessons going over basic to more complex skills!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello Families!
My name is Nicole - my students usually call me Ms. Cole. I graduated from ASU Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts with a double major in Design Studies - with a focus in 3D modeling and digital fabrication; and the other in Art Studies - with a focus in fashion and studio art.
I have a passion for the arts and really enjoy creating with clay and drawing in my free time. I love teaching fashion, drawing, and art classes; as well as early learning foundations for preschool and pre-k.
I am a multi-certified lead teacher for toddlers, preschool, and pre-k. I taught preschool and pre-k for five years, and I absolutely loved it!
I am a homeschool mom to my amazing daughter who keeps me on my toes and helps me come up with exciting new class ideas all the time.
I can't wait to see you in class!
**Recording Policy**
For everyone's privacy and safety I do not release our class recordings. Learners tend to share location/private/personal details during our meetings, and I will always ensure learner privacy in our classroom.
