Does your student spend hours drawing on their iPad or android tablet? In "Meet The Masters...With a Digital Twist" we will harness that curiosity and passion and use it to interact with the great masters of art history. **This class assumes an understanding of whatever digital app your student works in! I will not be teaching the apps in this class, rather USING the apps to explore art history through the various mediums and methods they provide** If your student needs to learn how to use...
Topics covered: The Surrealism Movement Video " Who Was Miro?" Creating compositions through multiple layers Shading Texture Color palettes and theory Using color to push compositions Creating emotion through line and color
There are pre-class activities for your student to help them become familiar with the Surrealism and learn the synapsis of Miro and his color choices.
This class will be held using digital devices - such as iPad, iPhone or Android tablet, to complete classwork and homework. Students can use a stylus or their finger. A working knowledge of the digital app is necessary for students - as the programs WILLNOT be taught. (Remember that my Intro series can introduce new learners to Procreate and ibispaint!) If your student would like to join us on paper and pencil, with markers and paints - that is fine too!!!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
