Description

Class Experience

Does your student spend hours drawing on their iPad or android tablet? In "Meet The Masters...With a Digital Twist" we will harness that curiosity and passion and use it to interact with the great masters of art history.  We will spend five weeks learning about the masters while increasing their digital art skills! 
**This class assumes an understanding of whatever digital app your student works in! I will not be teaching the apps in this class, rather USING the apps to explore art history...

Students will further enhance their digital skillsets, while learning color theory, perspective and tricks Seurat used to create values of color and light through pointillism.

Weekly drawing homework will be assigned, with a written analysis comparing and contrasting two of Cezanne's paintings. (Three questions to consider) .

This class will be held using digital devices - such as iPad, iPhone or Android tablet, to complete classwork and homework.
Students can use a stylus or their finger.
A working knowledge of the digital app is necessary for students - as the programs WILLNOT be taught.  (Remember that my Intro series can introduce new learners to Procreate and ibispaint!) 
If your student would like to join us on paper and pencil, with markers and paints - that is fine too!!!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

55 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
