Assessment
I encourage the students to show me their artwork if they wish. I would love for them to share their pictures in the classroom comments or in a review!

Class Experience

Students must have an iPad and the Procreate app. It is also useful to have an Apple Pencil although not required.

This class is for students who have little to no experience using the Procreate app. However, I welcome all levels into class if they wish to participate! The functions used in class will be the most commonly used, basic functions. This project is perfect to familiarize students with the app or help them develop their skills and comfort using the program.

I will teach by sharing my screen to show students how to:
-Open a new project and choose a canvas size.
-Choose colors.
-Change the background color.
-Make new layers.
-Undo actions by tapping with two fingers.
-Choose a brush.
-Change brush size.
-Draw shapes.
-Drag to paint shapes.

Depending on the time and skill level, students may also have time to export their design, make a background, and experiment with more tools.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to make their own project and become confident in the Procreate app.

How can a class help a learner improve memory, develop listening skills, make friends, foster creativity, reduce stress, build confidence, stimulate the imagination, and support language skills and be fun? Through MUSIC!

Good grades don’t come easy for everyone, and that includes me! Because of that, I am the kind of teacher who is patient and empathizes with students. I believe that all children are uniquely gifted and should be encouraged to accelerate according to their strengths. Everyone has abilities that are different, and one size doesn't fit all.

Music, games, and creativity are some of my passions that I incorporate into my classes. It is my goal to initiate and encourage learners to discover their interests in order to develop a lifetime love for learning. I want students to leave my classes feeling confident and inspired!
