In this engaging online class, we dive into a new ProCreate project each week, giving young artists a chance to explore different elements of the app in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment. Every project is crafted to be fun, accessible, and free from stress, allowing learners to unlock their creative side without feeling rushed or pressured. My goal is for each student to finish each session with artwork they’re excited and proud to share! Each week, I provide a project template to spark creativity and guide students as they begin by tracing a key element. From there, they’re encouraged to add their unique touches, creating personalized stories that reflect their own interests and imagination. The class pace is adaptable to each learner, ensuring everyone has the time they need to work at their comfort level. The social aspect of learning is celebrated here! Students are encouraged to interact and get to know one another, fostering a supportive and respectful community where everyone’s voice matters. I gently facilitate the group, making sure each learner has their time to share and contribute to the conversation. This class warmly welcomes neurodivergent learners, meeting each student where they are. Learners are always given the option to participate in ways that feel right for them—whether that’s by keeping their cameras off, choosing not to share their work, or interacting through the chat, including private messaging with me if they prefer. This is a safe space where every learner’s comfort and creativity are prioritized. 🖼 CLASS PROJECTS - Animal Costume - Digital Kawaii Sticker - Easy Animation - Character Expressions - Build a Scene *Subject to change depending on student preferences and project suitability to student skill level. ⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION APP: This course requires the app ProCreate which can be purchased for $10-13 from the Apple Store. Sadly, Procreate is not available for Andriod tablets. PENCIL: Although the Apple Pencil is recommended for this class, many learners do just fine using their finger to draw. The artwork we create in class is a combination of my own designs and inspiration drawn from classical artists, YouTube, and Pinterest. While I strive to use as many original ideas as possible, the challenge of creating fresh, weekly projects that can't be reused means I also rely on resources like brushes from Etsy and AI art models to craft engaging and fun lessons. When a project closely mirrors an existing artist's work, proper credit will always be given. Borrowing from master artists is a common practice in art education, allowing me to focus on providing the best learning experience for students.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello my Friends,
I primarily teach digital art classes using the app ProCreate.
I am committed to making every learner feel welcome in my class and strive to adjust my teaching style based on the needs of my learners. It's important to me that students completing my classes are happy with the experience they've had. I offer classes that challenge students to create something they are excited to share with their friends and family. In each class, I strive to foster conversation and create opportunities for social interaction... but also respect students who are more introverted in nature and prefer not to be pressured to share.
When I'm not teaching or making art, I like to hike and meditate.
