This will include setting up a canvas and using brushes and other tools, as well as more advanced techniques such as layering, blending, and color theory. By the end of the class, students should have a solid understanding of how to use Procreate to create their own digital paintings, drawings, and illustrations.

Each week, we will focus on a different aspect of using Procreate. In the first week, we will cover the basics of setting up a canvas and using the various tools and features in the software. This will include learning how to select and customize brushes, as well as how to use layers and the color picker. In the second week, we will delve deeper into layering and blending techniques, as well as color theory and how to use it to create vibrant and harmonious compositions. In the following weeks, we will cover more advanced topics such as creating textures and shading, as well as how to use Procreate to create professional-quality art. By the end of the class, students will have the skills and knowledge they need to create stunning digital art using Procreate.
As a professional digital artist and experienced teacher, I have extensive expertise in using Procreate for digital art. I have been using this powerful software for over 7 years and have mastered its wide range of tools and features. In addition to my practical experience, I also have a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, with a focus on digital art and design.

In my digital art class using Procreate basics, I will be sharing my knowledge and expertise with my students. Through hands-on activities and demonstrations, I will provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to create beautiful digital art using Procreate. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience with the app, I am confident that you will benefit from my expertise and guidance. I look forward to working with you and helping you unlock your creative potential with Procreate!
In my digital art class, students will be assigned homework each week to practice and reinforce the skills and techniques they have learned in class. This will include individual exercises and activities designed to help students develop their proficiency in using Procreate.

In addition to individual exercises, students will also have the opportunity to work on group projects, where they can collaborate with their classmates to create more complex and ambitious digital art. These group projects will provide a valuable opportunity for students to learn from each other and to develop their teamwork and communication skills.

Homework will typically take students up to an hour per week to complete. However, the exact amount of time will vary depending on the individual student and their level of experience with Procreate. I will provide detailed instructions and guidance to help students complete their homework effectively and efficiently.
For my digital art class using Procreate for beginners, learners will need the following supplies: An iPad with the Procreate app installed (cost: $9.99 on the App Store) An Apple Pencil or other stylus (cost: varies) I will provide all necessary curriculum and materials, including the official Procreate user guide, which can be downloaded from the Procreate website. Students will not need to purchase any additional materials or supplies. Overall, these supplies are essential for participating in this class and for learning the basics of using Procreate for digital art. I look forward to working with my students and helping them create beautiful digital art using this powerful software.

In my Procreate Basics class, assessing learner progress using feedback is an important part of the learning process. Through regular feedback and discussions with students, I will be able to provide individualized support and guidance to help each student achieve their goals.

During class, students will have the opportunity to share their work with their classmates and receive constructive feedback on their progress. This will include group critiques and feedback sessions, as well as individual discussions with me. This feedback will provide valuable insight into each student's strengths and areas for improvement, and will help me tailor my instruction to meet the needs of each individual learner.

In addition to in-class feedback, I will also provide written feedback on written assessments and homework assignments. This will provide students with a clear understanding of their progress and will help them identify areas where they may need additional support or guidance. Overall, my goal is to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students can thrive and achieve their full potential as digital artists.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
In our virtual class on Procreate Basics, I believe that parent guidance is very safe and not required. The class is designed to be accessible and engaging for children of all ages and abilities, and I will provide clear and concise instructions to help learners navigate the app and learn the fundamentals of digital art. Parents are welcome to sit with their child during the class if they want to provide support and encouragement, but it is not necessary for the child to have parental supervision in order to participate in the class. I want to provide a fun and safe learning environment for all children, and I trust that they will be able to learn and create on their own with my guidance.

In my virtual class, I will be using the Procreate app on an iPad with an Apple Pencil. I will also be using the Procreate user guide, which I will screen share for my students to follow along. The Procreate app is a powerful digital illustration tool that allows me to create professional-quality artwork using my iPad and Apple Pencil. The user guide will provide step-by-step instructions on how to use the app and its various features. With these tools, I and my students will be able to create stunning digital art and learn about the features and capabilities of the Procreate app.
