In this three-day summer camp students will learn different problem-solving methods.
Class experience
YAY for problem solving and logic thinking. During our three days together, students will learn about inductive thinking, deductive thinking, and problem-solving methods. Each day we will have new vocabulary words to use during the discussion. Students will be shown power point slides (using the screen sharing aspect of zoom) giving examples of inductive and deductive reasoning and then they will be allowed to create their own example. Students will learn different problem-solving methods. Students will use the problem-solving methods to resolve a logic problem. Students will use the vocabulary in our discussions during class. Students will enjoy learning the problem-solving methods. Students will connect the lessons learned in class to their real life and share how they use these methods and thinking skills every day.
