Students will receive personalized one-on-one tutoring with a teacher with a Masters degree and certification in Elementary Education and state certification in English as a Second Language for grades 6-12 (as well as a TESOL certificate)  In this class, students will learn writing skills, practice them with the teacher and then try it independently. Students can work on things such as punctuation and capitalization or things such as organizing an essay or writing for a purpose such as persuasive or how-to writing.  Students receive immediate feedback and notes during the class on both the positives and areas of need.  Homework is given upon request.
