Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 4
Calling all budding (and reluctant) writers! This 5-week class is a fun introduction into the world of storytelling and how to build exciting narrative. Each session focuses on a different element of storytelling, as students explore the development of a story concept and character development.

Students participate in a range of activities, including drawing, quizzes, listening and short writing tasks. Topics are completed in a journal style with students planning and recording their ideas as images, collages, drawings, and text.

Each class is supported with resources that can be printed or recreated directly into a journal or notebook of the student’s choice. Students will be supported in developing their ideas into written narrative and given the opportunity to share their writing within the classroom.

This class is perfect for young writers looking to unleash their creativity and build foundational storytelling skills!
