In this private weekly sewing lesson, I tailor each session to your child's interests, whether they’re just starting or ready to level up their skills! We explore hand sewing and machine sewing techniques in a supportive, one-on-one environment. 🔹 Customized Learning – Each 25-minute lesson is designed around the student's sewing goals. 🔹 Interactive & Visual – I use two cameras so learners can clearly see my hands and workspace. 🔹 Beyond the Lesson – I provide practice ideas and helpful learning links after each session. Beginner-Friendly Sewing Projects: 🪡 Threading a Needle – 2 Easy Methods 🪡 Hand-Sew a Pillow 🪡 Create a Hand-Sewn Needle Book Projects for Young Sewists with Experience: ✂️ Intro to Embroidery ✂️ Design & Sew Your Own Stuffie ✂️ Sew a Drawstring Bag What to Expect in Class: ✅ Personalized Instruction – We start with a friendly greeting and discuss what the student wants to learn. ✅ Step-by-Step Guidance – I demonstrate techniques using close-up camera angles for clarity. ✅ Encouraging Feedback – I offer tips, support, and plenty of room for creativity. ✅ Wrap-Up & Next Steps – Before we say goodbye, I share practice ideas to keep the learning going! This 1:1 session meets learners where they are, and moves at their pace, so it is uniquely tuned to their learning needs.
Parental Guidance
Because sewing involves sharp needles and scissors, I suggest an adult is nearby while students are sewing.
Pre-Requisites
This private lesson has no pre-requisites, as it is designed to meet learners at their level.
Supply List
Learners will need these sewing supplies for their Private Sewing Lesson: * A skill, project or idea with which you need help; * Supplies for that project, which could include fabric, thread, needles, scissors, etc.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
