Private Walk Like a Supermodel (Basic Runway/ Ramp Modeling Course)
This course covers lessons and exercises on proper posture and runway walk. It is not only useful to aspiring models, but also for students who want to look and feel confident when facing a crowd.
Class experience
The course will begin with the Introduction of the 2 of the 3 Main Parts of Runway Modeling: Model Stance and Model Walk. The student will learn about correct posture of a model on stage - from foot placement to facial expression, as well as techniques in maintaining proper posture. Majority of the session will focus on the Catwalk and use of modeling jargons. Teaching method in the first 30 minutes includes, combination of lecture slides with pictures and videos plus actual demonstration....
This class is taught in English.
At the end of the course, the student is expected to learn: 1. To practice proper posture when standing and walking. 2. To identify the 2 types of model stances. 3. To project appropriate facial expressions when doing runway shows. 4. To demonstrate the different catwalk techniques. 5. To use modeling jargons. 6. To apply concepts learned for practical use.
I took my Professional Modeling Course aka as Star Course at Cora Doloroso Career Center now Languages Internationale Manila (1995). I also choreographed and supervised college pageants and fashion shows in 2004 -2005.

Students should wear comfortable shoes, (flat or heeled). And, any 1-1.5 inch hardbound book which will be used to practice proper posture.
