Class Experience

In this class students will learn the basics of how to be a singer. In the beginning of class I will share slides to help explain a new singing teaching. Every week will be different! Some examples are: proper chin position, the different voice registers, an explanation of lip trills and humming, and how to keep their larynx steady. I will demonstrate each step and students will mirror me (if they are able). Learning how to sing properly allows singers of all styles of music to perform well...

I have been a student of voice for over 25 years. I am a featured soloist in Upstate NY. I have coached and trained numerous youth for the past 10 in vocal performance. I am also a High School Drama Director and award winning community theater actress.

25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
