Class Experience

Students will improve their understanding of how to use their voices and bodies in a way that is healthy & sustainable. They will grow in their confidence, skill, and knowledge.
As a professional opera singer with both my Bachelor and Masters degrees in vocal performance, I have spent many years studying and teaching voice & piano. I have professionally sung, performed & taught in a variety of different styles and genres of singing & vocal technique. In addition I've taught private voice & piano lessons to students of all ages at the top music schools in the Seattle, WA area.
Each week, students are expected to practice whatever vocal warm-ups & technical exercises we go over in our lesson. They may also need to practice any songs or repertoire we are working on with additional notes or "book work" for the music we're learning. A good practice goal/routine would be about 15-min per day, 5 days per week.
PIANO - it will be helpful for students to have access to a piano or digital keyboard so that they can learn their music and replicate the vocal warm-ups that are taught BOOKS/SUPPLIES - Once your student's needs, skill level & voice type are assessed, it will be individually communicated what music books, supplies, or curriculum will need to be purchased.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
