Description
Class Experience
Students will learn fundamental aspects of vocal technique and learn how to perform a song effectively. They will get specific individual feedback and students will work together with the teacher to set specific goals. They will have fun learning ways to express themselves and gain more confidence in their singing.
I have been teaching voice for over ten years and I teach students ranging from beginners to university voice majors. I hold a Masters of Music from the University of Alberta and a Performer Diploma from Indiana University. I have trained and performed within North America as well as in Italy and Austria. As a classical singer, I sing in many different languages, I have performed with orchestras, and have brought various fun characters to life when performing in operas. I also have a background in singing folk music and pop, and I am a trained pianist.
Students are recommended to practice regularly outside of class in order to incorporate new ideas and techniques. Practicing for at least 15 minutes per day is recommended.
