Beginner - Intermediate Level
This 8 week private voice course introduces new singers to the fundamentals of healthy vocal technique and musical expression. Weekly 30 minute lessons focus on breath control, posture, tone production, pitch accuracy and diction. Students will warm up, discuss individual needs and goals and work on songs that will help them safely get to the next level. They will be asked to rehearse and warm up at home. Those tools will be given in class and available to them outside of class.

Warm ups and Resonance
Vocal placement and resonance, warm up and sing. 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
Pitch Matching and Ear Training
Matching pitch and intervals, warm up and sing. 30 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Introduction to Vocal Registers
Chest, head and mix voice, warm up and sing. 30 mins online live lesson

I am a professional actor and singer who has been working in the business and teaching for over 30 years! I LOVE kids and have taught in public schools, private schools, arts schools and music schools. I also teach individual voice lessons, group vocal ensembles and choruses. I have directed and choreographed musical theatre performances for children. I am a member of Actors’ Equity Association and the National Association of Teachers of Singing. I love working with kids of all levels! I am also a mom to three kids ages 12-18. I am new to Outschool, so please enjoy this very low, introductory, private lesson rate! :) Reviews
