In private vocal lessons, I will work with learners on building the foundations of vocal technique. The lessons will be tailored to the student's needs. I will list times and will also accommodate time requests.

I am an operatic soprano and in private lessons, I encourage students to blossom into their voices. I focus on the foundations of vocal technique so each learner will will well-equipped to sing any style of music. We will also work on songs together and work on all aspects of singing including performance techniques. Learning objectives: Awareness of what happens when one sings and makes adjustments in the lesson. Finding your own personal voice and grow into your own abilities. Learn how to prepare for performances and handle issues of performance anxiety. Understand and implement healthy vocal technique Technique Focus On: Breath Managment Posture Vocalization "The Body is Your Instrument" Performance Techniques

Hello! My name is Zuly Inirio. I'm an operatic soprano, educator, and arts creative.
I have a Doctorate in Music with a minor in 19th-Century French Literature.
I started tutoring in high school. I am a native Spanish speaker and helped students in the ESL program. Tutoring helped me better understand the subjects I was offering help with and was rewarding. I continued tutoring throughout my entire time in college.
I went from tutoring in after school programs to teaching in the classroom while still performing locally and throughout the US.
After I completed my Doctorate, I spent three years as a faculty member in the local college and as a substitute professor at my Alma Mater. I have extensive experience teaching students between the ages of 5-40.
I always have a fun, relaxed atmosphere in my classroom in order to maximize the learner's experience. My goal is for the learner to enjoy and engage fully throughout throughout the class.
I recently moved to Pennsylvania after living in Germany for 4 years! My extensive travels and multi-cultural background have given me a lot of experience, lots of languages I know, and a huge palette to draw from for teaching.
