Teacher expertise and credentials
Hey, there! I'm a passionate, energetic, animated teacher of music and language arts. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brigham Young University in English Teaching. I am a published writer and currently teach ESL online. For the past 13 years, I have been a professional singer with the recording trio Mercy River. I have performed all over the world and have recorded 6 studio albums. I also write and direct our city's local summer play and currently own and direct a children's performance group out of my home. When I'm not singing, reading, or teaching, I enjoy coaching highschool cheerleading, advocating for internet safety in schools, and all things Harry Potter.
As an experienced online teacher and a mother of 6, I can easily connect with children. Kids feel safe, curious, and loved in my classroom. I encourage my students to "ask questions and make mistakes!" as we learn together. I'm confident you will find my classes are both professional and fun. I can't wait to meet your child!
