Description
Class Experience
Students will improve their vocal and performance skills as they learn new vocal and performance techniques in class.
Our acting and voice instructors have between 6-30+ years of vocal and acting training, professional musical theatre experience, and/or a BFA, BA, or MA in Music, Musical Theatre, or the Performing Arts. They have teaching experience in after school programs, theatre schools, public schools, universities, conservatories, and regional theatre programs.
All materials for homework will be provided within the Outschool classroom via links and/or downloads.
Learners will need a second device to play their music from during each class, such as a phone or tablet.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Written assessment is available upon request.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will need to have a flexible space to sit, stand, sing, and room to move during this class. Students will need a water bottle and straw nearby for staying hydrated and vocal warm-ups, as well as a second device (tablet or phone) to use to play their music during class in order to allow the instructor to hear both the students voice and their music in sync over Zoom.
