Class Experience
Private lessons for violin or viola and fiddle mastery. *** This is a copy of my ongoing private lessons class, grouped in 4-lesson blocks. For new learners, lesson 1 will include an assessment of the student's playing level. Each lesson that follows is tailored to the learner's level and interests. *** We will focus on playing technique, posture, ear training and listening, and building repertoire. Students should plan to practice their instrument independently every day.
Violin or viola and bow in good playing condition. It's helpful to have a shoulder rest for comfortable playing and pitch clip to make tuning easier.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
