Once a week, 30-minute private violin and cello class for beginning and intermediate students. Students will learn foundational violin and cello technique and work through pieces from the Suzuki method and Essential Elements for Strings.
Class experience
Private Violin and Cello lessons will focus on teaching students basic skills and techniques! Students will work with pizzicato (plucking) and arco (bow) playing styles and learn several different notes and their fingerings in order to perform different pieces of music. We will primarily use the Suzuki Method for Violin with some Essential Elements for Strings sprinkled in. Links/Scans of these resources will be provided to students. Homework Offered
Students will be expected to practice skills taught and learned at each lesson. Practices makes students more comfortable and familiar! Lesson notes will be posted within 48hrs after the lesson.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
