Students will improve their writing skills as a result of this time. 

I have a Bachelor of Arts in English, and held a Professional Teaching Certificate in Florida to teach English in grades 6-12.  For the past several years I have been tutoring students, in-person and online, focusing on writing skills. 

Homework Offered
Homework is up to each individual family. I am happy to assign work to be completed between meetings to reinforce concepts that we cover together. This is a great way to know if students are retaining information and are ready to move on, or if more time is needed on any given skill.

Assessments Offered
Students will be informally assessed during class so that I can adjust class time to the learner’s needs. There is no formal assessment. For parents who would like a more formal assessment, please reach out. 
Grades Offered

Tutoring is an excellent opportunity to work at each learner's pace and accommodate for unique learning needs, especially dyslexia, ASD, and dysgraphia, and ADHD.

There are no prerequisites, but if parents and learners have specific topics / assignments they would like to be covered during this time it should be communicated to me no later than 24 hours before the scheduled meeting time.
