US Grade 3 - 7
Students will engage in tutoring through practicing problems and working through areas of strength and needed support during the lesson one time a week as an ongoing class. Students will solve problems on the screen with instructor, working through each step of the problem. Students will then continue to practice skills and ask questions as they work through. Tutoring topics may include: Fractions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and/or division) Multiplication Division Decimals Geometry Algebra Integers Percents Ratios/Proportions Other topics may be covered as need based on student need. Individualized practice is available upon request after each session to allow for practice of skills.
Learning Goals
Students will enhance skills as they work through problems, gaining one on one insight into areas where mistakes may commonly occur. Students will practice for mastery, having the opportunity to review concepts of needed support to build confidence.
