This add-on is perfect for learners already registered for a 45-minute private tutoring session in Math, ELA, Minecraft, or Rubik's Cubes. It's also an option for those interested in setting up a new tutoring session with this addition. In this 15-minute add-on, your child will receive additional targeted support and personalized attention to reinforce key concepts covered in their primary tutoring session. Whether they need an extra math challenge, want to dive deeper into ELA topics, explore advanced Minecraft strategies, or master the art of solving Rubik's Cubes, this add-on is tailored to their specific needs and interests. How It Works: Book Your Session: Choose your preferred subject – Math, ELA, Minecraft, or Rubik's Cube – and schedule a 45-minute tutoring session. To find my private tutoring sessions, please see my class listings. Add the Boost: Once registered, contact me to add the 15-minute Learning Boost to your existing session. Parental Guidance
Throughout our tutoring programs, we will be utilizing various interactive tools and platforms to enhance the learning experience. Specifically, we will be using Kahoot, Factile, and Gimkit for engaging game-based learning, Khan Academy for additional learning resources, and YouTube videos to reinforce and explain concepts.
For the games and activities on Kahoot, Factile, and Gimkit, learners will not be required to sign up for accounts, ensuring their privacy and safety. However, for Khan Academy, learners will need to create an account to access the relevant learning materials.
It's important to note that while the majority of the content is designed to be engaging and enjoyable, some learners may find certain topics or challenges challenging or frustrating. As an experienced tutor, I will ensure that the learning pace is accommodating for all learners and provide support when needed.
Regarding YouTube videos, I will carefully select appropriate content from reputable sources to reinforce concepts. I will also be available to answer any questions or concerns related to the content presented in the videos.
Please rest assured that the safety and well-being of all learners are my top priorities. If you have any specific concerns or questions about the content used during the sessions, feel free to reach out to me, and I will be more than happy to address them promptly.
Supply List
For academic tutoring sessions, learners may want to have a pencil and paper nearby if they prefer, or they can stick with digital tools on their devices. Learners who are registered for Minecraft tutoring will need to make sure they have Minecraft Education downloaded on their computer prior to our session. Learners who are enrolled in Rubik's Cube private sessions will require the puzzle they are interested in learning during our session (3x3, 2x2, Pyraminx, Megaminx, etc.) A stable internet connection and access to Zoom is required for all learners.
