This course will provide one on one instruction to be successful in Kindergarten. Class is tailored to individual student needs after teacher evaluation through interactive games. Classes will begin with early reading and math skills:letter recognition, letter sounds, number recognition, rote counting and one to one correspondence, shapes, and colors. Students will learn basic Kindergarten Skills based on Common Core curriculum: letters, sounds, numbers, counting, addition, subtraction, shapes, colors, beginning and ending sounds, cvc decoding, sight words, rhyming, patterning,time, and money. Lessons taught will be tailored to individual student needs and parent requests.

Informal assessments will be used to determine objectives that need to be retaught and areas where students need to move on to more difficult objectives. Most assessments will be in a game format.Grades Offered
White board and dry erase marker or paper and pencil for writing ( as needed)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
