Class Experience
Learning Goals will be determined between the adult/parent and me at the onset of class.
I am a trained and registered IEW instructor with the IEW program. I have taught English in the classroom for 7 years to 4th-7th graders.
Homework will be assigned on an ongoing basis, and it will be determined by the goals and the needs of the student.
Handouts will be provided on the classroom page as needed.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Learner assignments will be discussed in class. After class, I will post to the classroom what was accomplished in class and what the assignment is.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
I use the Institute for Excellence in Writing as a basis for my teaching.
