Students with dyslexia or other reading difficulties will learn the necessary decoding strategies to drastically improve their reading fluency and confidence.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Drama in Education, a 250 hour TESOL diploma, and I have been formally trained at the Orton-Gillingham associate level (60 hour in class training). I also have 5 years of experience being a one-on-one tutor in both reading and ESL.
Homework Offered
Students are asked to review their flashcards with a parent outside of class time.Assessments Offered
Students will be assessed during their first class. Additional progress assessments are available per request, and copies can be sent to the parent if desired.Grades Offered
Students will need a notebook, pencil, and a deck of plain index cards.
