This one time course is for current students to try out tutoring, or have a one time totoring session on a specific topic. These sessions are for elementary math topics. We will leatn through stories, games, and other focused math work to help the learner gain mastery over a difficult math topic. Please note that these private tutoring courses are available by invitation only.
There will be not homework
Learners should bring a paper and pencil to class.
There will be no quizzes or testa. The learners progress is assessed through class through a series of game and problem solving. Detailed feedback is offered after class to help parents understand the progress made in class.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
