Hello, my name is Sarah. I am a married mother of 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl. I enjoy camping, reading, cooking and adventures with my family! My newest passions are gardening and homesteading and I am on a journey to learn all that I can about these new interests to apply to my life and my family! I consider myself a Lifelong Learner!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an Early Childhood Endorsement. I am a certified K-5 teacher in the state of Michigan. I have been teaching for 15 years with experience in pre-K, K, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade! I taught at a Montessori school for 4 years and the rest of my teaching years have been in a public school setting. In 2019 I began a new adventure, teaching ESL online! I absolutely love the online platform and meeting students around the world! I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to achieve their goals with hard work and dedication! My role as a teacher is to facilitate, encourage and guide my students to be successful in their learning endeavors. I am so enthusiastic about getting young children engaged and excited to learn in all subject areas so, they too, can become lifelong learners with curiosity and persistence!!! 
I absolutely love reading! Teaching reading through phonics and whole language is my passion! I believe that reading is an adventure that starts in the early years of life and needs to be fostered at every stage of development! I am so passionate about teaching and I look forward to meeting my Outschool Students and being a part of their learning adventure! See you in the classroom!!!
