The student will be able to comprehend stories we read. The student will also be able to highlight important data from the stories. We will focus on reading, their pronunciation, definition of certain words and summarize each story. We will discuss who, what , where, when and how did he happen? We will focus on main ideas and the author's purpose. We will aim to cover topics that the learner will be interested in and engage in reading, writing, spelling and vocabulary. This class will have discussions, lectures, videos and games. The student will be able to ask questions and have a more detailed explanation of the correct answers.
Learning Goals
Student will be able to have a deeper understanding of what they have read. The student will be able to "act out" , create and summarize what they have read.
