This ongoing class will cover detailed human features in graphite pencil and the Class meets once every week. In this class, learners will learn how to sketch and draw a proportionate human facial feature with basic shapes. the class includes lectures at the beginning and later step-by-step real-time drawing demonstrations so learners can follow along with the instructor. The learner will be able to draw a human face with the right proportion. And will be able to draw facial features such as eyes, mouths, noses, ears, etc all taught techniques will enhance their drawing skills in the future.
Drawing portraits in graphite pencils is my passion. I have been doing portraits since I was very young, almost more than 22 years. I have done a lot of commissioned portraits. 1. Sketchbook/ Drawing papers (Extra paper for practice) 2. Pencils: HB /#2 for light drawing, Darker pencils preferably 2B, 4B 3. Eraser (kneaded / basic) 4. Ruler 5. blending stumps or Q tip or soft facial tissues (Kleenex) or paintbrush for blending
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
