Description

Class Experience

Students will learn to identify the letters of the alphabet (upper and lower case), improve their phonics with learning their letter sounds, and advance in their handwriting skills.
I have been teaching pre-kindergarten for 18 years. Throughout that time I have spent many years developing curriculum to enhance student's abilities to preform at or above standard levels of kindergarten reading and writing skills by using various techniques.
I will provide worksheets from time to time to help the student work on their handwriting skills. These will meet the individual needs of the student depending on the areas they may need more practice in.
hand-outs/pintables & pencil (these are strongly encouraged, however if you do not have access to a printer the learner can substitute with a white board and marker or plain paper and pencil)
A formal assessment can be preformed upon enrollment, at parents request. Each class I will assess the student by keeping track their progress and areas that need improvement.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
