Private Tutor (1:1): K-3rd Grade

In this class I will work with learners to support their individual needs using various strategies that will best fit your learner and help them achieve their academic goals. I offer one on one support for grades kindergarten-3rd Grade. Subjects that I offer support are Math, Reading, Spelling, Writing, and Science.  You will communicate with me the subject and area that your learner needs support with and I will teach to their academic needs and abilities. This class is perfect for homeschooling learners as well as elementary school students. Please send me a message with the support you are seeking for your learner at least two days prior to your first class to allow me time to compose a lesson for them. I have listed the areas for each subjects that are frequent struggles for many learners.

MATH:
• number recognition
• addition and subtraction (single and multiple digits)
• fractions
• place values
• multiplication and division

READING:
• phonics and word decoding
• spelling
• reading fluency
• comprehension 

Writing:
• letter formation & handwriting
• sentence and paragraph structure
• creative writing prompts

Science:
• scientific method 
• life science
• Earth/space science
• states of matter

These are just some of the areas that students often struggle the most in. I can support students in other areas outside of this list. You just message me with the areas that your learner needs support in and I will customize a curriculum to meet their needs to get them to be confident with the subject.
