In this on going class, you will recieve detailed, clear instruction in Suzuki Piano elements starting with the Twinkle Variations and games to reinforce music concepts and theory. Adult participation is required for children aged 7 and under and welcome for all other ages. Caretakers have the job to play the recordings at home and initiate and guide home practice. As the student gains knowledge and age, they will become more responsible for their own practice. After the completion of each book the student will make an graduation recital video of the entire book from memory to celebrate accomplishments and move forward to the next level with solid musicianship skills, tone and technique. Each lesson begins with technique (Twinkle variaitions and scales), then we move on to review pieces, new piece and when the student is ready reading pieces.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to play the piano through listening first as they learn their mother tongue. There are 19 pieces in book one that will be learned Hands alone first at the childs pace, learning the melody then adding the left hand.

Beginning Students will need the Suzuki Piano School New International edition Volumne 1 Book and CD the cost is $25 and the student typically uses this book for 2-3 years.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
