Hola! Welcome to our small, private classes for Spanish tutoring with Regina, a Waldorf trained Spanish teacher. This unique class is founded on language learning curriculum and styles in Waldorf education. Based on our discussions before the class starts, the curriculum will be planned before the sessions. Born in Antigua, Guatemala, Regina moved to the United States at the age of 15 and graduated from Cal State Monterey Bay with a bachelor’s degree in World Languages and Culture in 2008, and a Master of Education degree from Liberty University. Regina also holds a Waldorf certificate in Spanish and English from the Center for Anthroposophy training She worked at Monterey Bay Charter School, a Waldorf inspired school in Pacific Grove, CA.as the lower school Spanish teacher for four years. After that Regina was offered the position of high school Spanish teacher at Highland Hall Waldorf School (Los Angeles, Ca) During her time at Highland Hall, Regina served as the High School Sponsor for the Class of 2018 as well as the Student Council liaison for two years. Regina has also worked at Pasadena Waldorf School (Altadena, Ca) for one year, teaching Spanish, History and she also served as a cosponsor for the class of 2022. Regina then transitioned to teach at Chaminade College Preparatory (West Hills, Ca) for 2 years. During her time at CCP she taught Spanish levels 1-3. Regina has been teaching Waldorf-inspired education online for over a year now from kindergarten up to class 6.
