Beginner - Advanced Level
Welcome to a personalized Spanish Lessons adventure, crafted just for you! In this dynamic class, we'll journey from beginner to advanced levels (A1-C2), with each lesson tailored to your progress and interests. What will be taught? You'll start with basic introductions, vowel sounds, and simple vocabulary. As you progress, we'll delve into family members, numbers, colors, and essential verbs, gradually introducing more complex material. What topics will you cover, and when? Here's an example of topics that could be covered in a Spanish tutoring class: Week 1: Basic Vocabulary and Introduction - Greetings and farewells - Introducing oneself and others - Numbers 1-10 - Common phrases for everyday interactions - Cultural insights about Spanish-speaking countries Week 2: Family and Descriptions - Family members (parents, siblings, etc.) - Physical and personality descriptions - Possessive adjectives (mi, tu, su, etc.) - Basic conversation about family and relationships Week 3: Daily Routine and Activities - Daily routine verbs (levantarse, comer, dormir, etc.) - Describing daily activities - Telling time - Vocabulary related to daily activities (school, work, hobbies) Week 4: Food and Ordering in a Restaurant - Food vocabulary (fruits, vegetables, meats, etc.) - Ordering food and drinks in a restaurant - Expressing likes and dislikes - Cultural aspects of Spanish cuisine Week 5: Directions and Places - Asking for and giving directions - Vocabulary related to places in the city (store, park, library, etc.) - Prepositions of place (en, a, cerca de, lejos de, etc.) - Describing locations and routes Week 6: Travel and Transportation - Vocabulary related to travel (airport, hotel, bus, etc.) - Means of transportation (car, train, plane, etc.) - Buying tickets and asking for information - Cultural insights about travel in Spanish-speaking countries Week 7: Shopping and Prices - Vocabulary for shopping (clothing, accessories, etc.) - Bargaining and asking for prices - Numbers above 10 for prices - Cultural aspects of shopping in Spanish-speaking countries Week 8: Review and Conversation Practice - Review of previous topics - Role-playing scenarios related to daily life - Conversational practice with the tutor - Feedback and suggestions for further improvement How is your class structured? Classes are structured to be engaging and interactive, with a focus on practical language skills. You'll have the opportunity to practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in every session. How will you teach? What's your teaching style? I use a communicative and immersive approach, where learners actively participate in the learning process. You'll interact with me and your classmates through discussions, games, role-plays, and other engaging activities. Is there any required experience or background knowledge that learners should have before enrolling? What is the pacing of the class? No prior experience is necessary. The class is designed for beginners, and I will adapt the pace to match your learning style and speed. How will you ensure that learners who enroll late into your class will feel welcomed and how will you bring them up to speed? Latecomers will be warmly welcomed and quickly integrated into the class. I'll provide extra support and resources to help them catch up, ensuring they feel confident and included from the start.
