In this one-on-one Spanish course, the student will have the opportunity to learn or practice their Spanish. If you want to learn Spanish, you can do it. If you know a little, you can learn more. If you are nervous, that’s fine too!

Homework
1 hour per week. Homework will usually be assigned depending on the lecture of the class. It will be checked for correctness on the next class. Homework will be required to be completed before next class.Assessment
After completion of a session in this course, it could take a few classes to complete a particular lesson. Then, an assessment will be given in class and also as a take-home assignments. The assessments will be required for all students.Grading
The assessments and quizzes will be graded on a scale from A to Fail. Grades will be provided by request to students. Grades will also guide the student to be accountable for dedicating the necessary time to study from lectures.Class Experience

Cultural Insights: Exploring cultural nuances, such as those of Mexico, to enhance your understanding of the language and its context. Beginner Course Highlights: For those starting their Spanish journey, the beginner course provides a structured and supportive learning environment. We will cover: Essential greetings and farewells, nouns, adjectives, and polite expressions. Vocabulary expansion through interactive exercises and practice. Learning and practicing the names of colors. An introduction to Mexican cultural notes, including reading comprehension and pronunciation practice. Understanding gender and number of nouns, and using definite and indefinite articles. Mastering subject pronouns and the conjugation of the verb "ser" (to be). Adjective forms and agreement rules. The Spanish alphabet and numbers, including spelling practice. Practical application of learned vocabulary through question-and-answer sessions. Basic conversational skills, including asking and answering common questions. Interactive exercises and role-playing to practice speaking in various situations. The student will need a notebook and pen or pencil. Occasionally, the student will need access to a printer in order to print out slides or homework assignments.
