1-2 hours per week. It is strongly recommended that learners practice what they have learned for at least 10 minutes each day. I also encourage learners to surround themselves with as much Spanish as possible. Listen to songs in Spanish, watch children's programs in Spanish on TV or YouTube. Consider borrowing Spanish language books from the library, or building your own Spanish library at home!Class Experience
Intermediate Level
In this 8 week private small group class, learners will meet weekly to focus on the basics of the Spanish language. 🚨Please note that your learner should have already completed all four semesters of Super Spanish A-D, as well as Immersion 1, 2 and 3 with me.🚨 🚨If you are interested in this class, please message me with your day and time requests so that I can match your learner with other learners that are interested.🚨 ⭐️ Each thirty minute session will include greetings, how we are feeling, calendar time, weather in your neighborhood, and more! ⭐️ We will have picture talk time and do several review games during the meeting. Previously learned concepts will be practiced and perfected, and new concepts will be introduced as well! ⭐️ Informal verbal and simple written assessments will be conducted each week in order to track the progress of each learner. ⭐️ There will be many opportunities for each learner to hear the target language as well as verbally practice specific vocabulary and phrases several times throughout the class meeting. ⭐️ Learners will gain confidence with each passing week, as they are able to understand and speak more and more Spanish! ⭐️ PowerPoint presentations, visual props, games, songs, and more will be used during each class meeting. ⭐️ Learners will also work on simple projects and handouts during some of the class meetings. ⭐️ There is not a specific curriculum listed for each week. I will assess what concepts the learners need more practice with. I will also be introducing new vocabulary and grammar concepts to the learners. ***Please note that there are NO makeup dates for this class. If your learner misses a meeting, they are welcome to view the recording of the meeting. ***In the event that a scheduled meeting must be cancelled by the instructor, the new meeting date will be added to the end of the semester.

Supply List
Learners will need a small dry erase/white board and marker each week. Handouts that may be needed for a particular lesson will be available in the classroom, and will need to be printed prior to the start of the class meeting. Flashcards and some additional items found in your home may be needed as well.

⭐️ I speak three languages fluently -- Portuguese, Spanish, and English. I also studied both French and German for several years and am currently learning Chinese!
