Homework
1-2 hours per week. Homework will typically be to memorize whatever piece you are working on in class. In most situations, you will have plenty of time to complete your memorization. Your homework may also be to listen to the song we worked on in class to become familiar with the melody.Assessment
Learner progress will be assessed casually throughout instruction. These are the things Ms. Emily will be looking for: memorization, taking and remembering notes about your performance, growing in confidence, and listening to instructions. There will be no formal assessments. But if Ms. Emily feels like your learner isn't progressing as expected, she may reach out to parents to have a discussion on why that may be.Class Experience
FOR ALL AGES! This is a one-time class that can become an on-going class after the first lesson. Lessons are taught in English only. Whether you have been acting and singing for years or this is your first time, you have come to the right place! Ms. Emily has been teaching acting, singing, and audition prep for years and she is so excited to be teaching online and reaching learners all over the world. Now you can learn from the comfort of your own home! How it works: Your learners may discuss what kind of music they like and they will choose a piece to work on with Ms. Emily. Your learner will either have material selected for an audition or Ms. Emily may help you choose your material. Your learners will work on acting or singing techniques, whether beginner or advanced. Your learners will often memorize material and receive advice on how to do that on their own. Your learners will find continual growth in their talent and theatrical skills.
