Description

Class Experience

When I began learning ASL in 2006, I never realized the journey it would take me on.  It has created a very large passion in my soul that if somebody is going to learn a language, it needs to be learned correctly. 

Sign Language is a full language all, its own, with its own grammatical structure, hand shapes, classifiers, and so much more.  I am an advocate for my deaf friends and family.

I began learning ASL in 2006 and have been teaching it since 2010.  I love hanging out with my deaf/HOH friends and family.

There will be a small project each month assigned at the beginning.

30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.

Hi!  My name is Natalie and I love teaching.  I have over 13 years' experience in learning and teaching ASL with both children and adults.  I recently got my certificate in ASL.  I also graduated with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education...
