Homework
1-2 hours per week. Students are asked to maintain a weekly practice schedule outside of class time. Music assignments will be given based on each student’s ability and goals.Assessment

This is an ongoing class for one-on-one (one to one) lessons on the saxophone. Alto, Tenor or Baritone! I have experience teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced levels on the saxophone. My teachings focus on the classical style of playing. We can discuss all things saxophone and learn to play the instrument to the best of your ability. I have learned from some of the best performers and educators in music. I enjoy passing this knowledge on to those who I teach and I try to make it fun! Each lesson will be personalized to the needs and goals of the learner. Music will be assigned as necessary and method books will be assigned based on the level of the learner. Learners are encouraged to bring in music that they enjoy and any music that is assigned in any ensembles they participate in. Students are asked to come to the lesson prepared with their instrument and assigned music ready to go. Feel free to reach out if you don't see a time listed that works for you!

Each lesson will be catered to the ability level of the learner. Students should see improvement in their playing and in their confidence as a musician with each lesson.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Teacher expertise and credentials
Various music method books can be used for these lessons. Books such as Essential Elements and the blue Rubank Method books are highly recommended for the class. Other books and music will be assigned based on the learner’s ability.Reviews
