In these one on one reading sessions, students will first engage in an assessment session to target exact phonics skills needed to be taught. After assessment, students will engaged in instruction rooted in the science of reading.
Class experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 3
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Various phonics skills will be taught based on the need of each individual learner. To begin during the first session, a Phonics Assessment (CORE Phonics Assessment) will be given. After, direct and interactive instruction will be given using UFLI and the Science of Reading instructional strategies. Students will engage in explicit instruction while also having fun. To ensure effective tutoring, the teacher suggests meeting 2x per week. Book additional recurring meetings after the initial purchase.Students will improve their beginning reading skills with targeted instruction based on reading assessments.
